I regularly drive between Central Texas and Colorado and the Kokopelli has become a home away from home over the years. Great rooms which are well maintained, hot / strong showers and the best breakfast / breakfast room in the region (local flare with green chile). Easy parking outside of rooms is an added bonus given severe weather one often experiences in the panhandle region. The staff works very hard to be accommodating, small town friendly and provide efficient service. Hotel is also a great value and wonderfully set up for pets!

It's clean, comfortable and well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is nothing exceptional about the design, but who really cares? Breakfast is quite a bit better than average, and the complimentary soap is pretty nice too. Overall, good value for the money in a town noted for very poor hotels.

Was very impressed with staff Jacob is the one who got us checked in he was very friendly. The breakfast was also good and the two lady’s serving the breakfast were also very friendly. If we come through here again it will be a no brainer to pick this hotel to stay at

Handicapped Couple was helped by friendly staff at this hotel. "BREE" at front desk helped us find parking for large RV and ensured we had minimal walking to our room. She suggested delivery food options and ensured we were taken care of. …

After driving 7 hours in a heavy rain and a lot of construction I needed a place to crash. We found this place and couldn't be happier. It was clean, the beds comfortable, tha the staff very friendly. The breakfast was even very good. I would easily stay here again since we make the trip from Arkansas to Colorado every month.

We were traveling as a family of 4 from AZ to Omaha. It was clean and the gentleman at check-in late at night was super friendly. The best part was the homemade hatch green chili served at breakfast. It was awesome. Anne, who’s been there for 15 years, makes it herself. I ended up taking one home with me for $10.

Heading to Red River from Amarillo and our car broke down in the middle of the night. We managed to pull into the parking lot after calling and checking for any rooms available and Sarah was such an angel. Very helpful and efficient when checking in. The rooms are nice and well maintained. We got a single bed and it was clean and had no odor. You can definitely tell the employees and staff care. The breakfast was sooo much better than your ordinary continental breakfast and the breakfast attendant was so sweet. The green chili was delicious as well!! I definitely recommend staying. Thank you all!!!! ♥️

Great overnight stay while passing through Clayton. Very clean and updated rooms. Great breakfast the next morning. |Will definitely stay there again and again while on this route through Nee Mexico! Extremely easy reservation and check in process.
